Bean to Bar Chocolate Workshop
Come take a fascinating look at how we get chocolate from the beans that grow on a tree and try your hand at making your own bar
We are running a workshop at The Priory in Lancaster 10.30am – 1.30pm on Saturday 25th February.
This is a unique FIG Tree Fair Trade Bean to Bar Experience where you begin by selecting your beans, grown by farmers in New Koforidua in Ghana, and turn them into chocolate, adding your own flavouring along the way.
You will find out more about the history and origins of chocolate and the very real impact Fair Trade has on the cocoa growing communities.
